The project involved creating a mural using the fresco technique, inspired by the distinctive artistic style of Antoni Gaudi. Placed inside a private residence, the space designated with the main staircase, facilitating circulation between floors, provided ample walls for such a project.
The balustrade itself, adorned with ornaments complementing the unique and captivating atmosphere of the artistic style, became an integral part of the project.
The "a secco" technique involves applying pigment to a fresh plaster layer, allowing for the creation of fine details and subtle shades.
Inspired by Gaudi, in this case, the mural included organic motifs, curved lines, and unconventional geometric shapes, all intended to bring uniqueness and elegance to the space.
The vibrant textures and colours had a distinctive dynamism that not only adorned the space but also contributed to creating an impressive visual experience, pleasing the owner, who is an art enthusiast and admirer of Antoni Gaudi's creations.
